1. Introduction
Welcome to Re:Connect! These Terms and Questions (T&Qs) are designed to provide clarity about our app, services, and guidelines. By using the Re:Connect online platform, you agree to these terms.
Reconnectology may change this policy when necessary by updating this page. Please check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes made. This policy is effective from 9th January 2025.
2. General Questions
Q1: What is Re:Connect?
Re:connect is a yoga platform offering compassion focused yoga practices that fit into your life. We know how hard it can be to prioritise the stuff that helps - moving, resting, pausing, connecting. So we created this online space that brings together our experience in body-mind practices to offer a flexible and varied approach.
Q2: Who is this app for?
Our app is suitable for anyone that is wanting to deepen the relationship with themselves and others through movement and meditation practices. We offer practices on a chair or mat alongside offering variations.
Q3: What features does the app offer?

On-demand library with pre-recorded guided yoga/mindful movement, breathwork and mindfulness sessions

Short practices that can be incorporated into your day

Live sessions each week.

Monthly live extended practice with yoga nidra

Community forum to make requests

Community forum to ask questions and share how your practice is evolving.
Q4: Can I use the app offline?
Yes, you can download sessions to practice offline. Note that some features, such as community forums, require an internet connection.
3. Account and Subscription
Q5: Do I need an account to use the app?
Yes, creating an account helps us personalise your experience and track your progress. Some features are available without an account, but a subscription unlocks premium content.
Q6: What subscription plans are available?
We offer:

Monthly Plan: £25 per month.

7 days free trial
When joining Re:connect online platform with the free trial, you will be required to give your credit card details. Your account will be charged on the last day of the trial if you do not cancel beforehand. You are responsible for cancelling your own membership. No refunds will be issued if you do not cancel prior.
Q7: How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through the app settings or your device's app store. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

4. Fees:
Q8: Do the fees change?
The Fees for the Service shall be as set out on the Website at the time you placed an order for them.
Fees may increase, but your price will remain the same at purchase unless discussed with you.

5. Usage Guidelines
Q9: Are there any age restrictions?
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

Q10: Can I share my account with others?
No, accounts are intended for individual use. Sharing your account may result in suspension.

Q11: What should I do if I experience discomfort during a session?
If you experience pain or discomfort, stop immediately. Contact us to discuss your experience and consider consulting a healthcare professional to continue.

6. Liability
No part of the provision of the Service shall be deemed to be, nor is it intended to be, nor should it be taken to be, the provision of health advice.
We aim to provide services to the highest standard. We do not accept liability for:

Any inaccuracy or misleading information provided in the programmes or Course Materials and any reliance by Client on any such information

Any loss or corruption of data

Any injury or illness incurred whilst taking part in membership videos and live yoga sessions.
Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or limit Reconnectology’s liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (ii) fraudulent misrepresentation or (iii) any other matter which under English law may not be limited or excluded.
No claim may be brought more than six months after the last date on which the Services concerned have finished or ceased to be provided by us.

7. Physical Exercise
Physical exercise in all of its forms and with or without the use of equipment such as yoga mats, blocks, straps or any other equipment that may be suggested by Re:Connect membership, is a strenuous physical activity.

You are advised to seek advice from your GP/physician before beginning any physical exercise regimen, routine, program or using any suggested equipment, shown in any of the video clips on the Website.

We are not a medical organisation and cannot give you medical advice or diagnosis. Nothing contained in this online platform should be construed as any form of such medical advice or diagnosis.

Q12: What is my responsibility?
By agreeing to these terms you are signing up to the following declaration:
I understand it is my choice to partake in yoga and I am aware of the nature of what it entails. If I have any questions, I will ask the Reconnectology Team.

Part of yoga is a commitment to taking care of my body and mind. I commit to listening to and honouring my body and its needs.
I take responsibility for my own health and safety whilst participating in the yoga class.
I choose the variation, using props as needed, that best suits my body each time I practice, that supports my physical, mental and emotional health.

I also understand that it is my responsibility to:

Check with my doctor if I have any difficulties or concerns about my ability to participate in the yoga class.

Advise the yoga teacher of any change in my medical information or ability to participate in the yoga class.

Follow the advice given by my doctor and/or yoga teacher.
8. Confidentiality
We will keep your information confidential.
